There are many ways to be frugal and save money. Here are a few ways on saving more money. We usually go to the closest ATM and withdraw money. There is a fee assessed at both banks usually totaling $5 to $7. Lottery tickets are another lure, we buy these tickets "just in case" but you have a better chance at being hit by lightning then winning the lottery.

Cigarettes are a cancer on your budget and your lungs. A pack of cigarette run from $6 to $10 a pack depending on what state you are in. We love going to gourmet coffee shops, sometimes daily. Take the $6 cup of coffee you buy and multiply it times the days you go…what a savings.

Buying generic brands of groceries can save a lot of money too. For instance, a brand name box of corn flakes may cost $4.79 when a generic costs $1.99. Eating out is one of the most expensive habits we have. An average bill is $28.47 and average 82 restaurant visits a year, adding up to $2341 a year. Bar hopping is double the cost of a restaurant.
