The word frugal, a word which many in this age find hard to relate too is defined by the dictionary as "economical in use of expenditure, not wasteful". Stephanie Harvie, a mom of two in fact promotes a frugal lifestyle and says that she finds it quite fun.
She says that over the years her family has become used to living a frugal lifestyle and that now it suits them perfectly. The best way to stay frugal she says is to save on entertainment. Since going to movie theaters can be quite expensive these days, her family takes the frugal way and goes to the dollar movie theater, if not that then they rent it on DVD.
The other area where they stay frugal is the public library. Since it's a rich source of information and knowledge, the library saves them money on books and her children frequent it a lot.
